Nuapada: The security forces on Friday busted a Maoist camp and seized several fire arms and explosive materials in a forest area of the district in an overnight operation.
According to sources, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel came across the camp during a combing operation in Patadaraha reserve forest near Kandenjharia village. The Maoists had fled before the CRPF jawans arrived at the spot.
The security forces found five single-barrel rifles, gelatin, detonator and other explosive materials from the camp. They continued the combing operation to trace the Maoists.
