Phulbani: CRPF personnel busted a Maoist camp and seized explosives during a combing operation inside a forest along the Kandhamal-Kalahandi district border on Wednesday evening.
Following a tip-off, the CRPF personnel began the operation in Samagan forest near Lenguri and Kutiguda villages.
CRPF Battalion Commandant Anand Jha told the media that the security men have seized a country-made gun, 3 kg of ammonium nitrate, 10 metres of flexi wire, one tiffin carriage, two cello tapes, two 9 volts batteries, one knife, several packets of medicines and injections, four ropes, radio, water bottles, polythene bags and carry bags from the camp.
Jha said combing operation in the area has been intensified.
