Jeypore: A joint team of BSF and police personnel busted a Maoist camp near Gupteswar in Koraput district on Thursday.
Jeypore SDPO Pratyush Diwaker informed the media that police had received a tip-off that Maoists were planning an attack near Gupteswar.
Following this, BSF commandoes from the 151 battalion and personnel from Boipariguda police station launched a combing operation in the area and came across the camp. They seized a rifle, a huge quantity of explosives, walkie-talkies, digital cameras, infrared cameras and Maoist pamphlets from the spot, the SDPO said.
