Bhawanipatna/Sundargarh/Nuapada: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel along with police busted a Maoist camp in a forest near Katela Ghati at Jugasaipatna in Kalahandi district during a combing operation on Wednesday.
Though the insurgents managed to flee, arms and ammunition, including tiffin bomb and gun, were recovered from the spot.
Meanwhile in Sundargarh, security personnel recovered two landmines planted the Puranapashi forest.
On Tuesday, CRPF jawans had busted a Maoist camp in a forest near Pandripani village under Dharambandha police limits along Odisha-Chhattisgarh border. Two rifles, two hand grenades, and 12 gelatine sticks, 25 detonators, arms and ammunition along with five kg explosives were seized during the combing operation.
