Malkangiri/Nuapada: Maoist posters calling people to boycott the ensuing Lok Sabha and Assembly polls surfaced in the Kalimela bus stand area and many other places in Malkangiri district on Friday.
The posters, issued by the so-called Kalimela Regional Committee, also bear slogans against the state and central government.
Similar posters and banners also surfaced at Tanawat Square in Nuapada district in which the Maoists, under the banner of CPI Maoist Committee, appealed to residents to boycott the electoral process.
