Maoist Posters Found In Malkangiri’s Chitrokonda

Malkangiri: Maoist posters were found at Chitrokonda in Malkangiri district on Thursday.

These have been put up by Gumma area Committee of CPI (Maoist) at different places in Panasput and Gajal Malodi Panchayat of the district.

In the posters, the police have been accused of torturing innocent tribal people by branding them as Maoists.

With Peoples Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) week being observed till December 8, the posters exhorted youth to join the Maoist outfit.

These also mentions about the banned outfit opposing elections.

Supporting the demand for a permanent bench of Orissa High Court in western Odisha, an audio tape was released by Balangir-Baragarh Mahasamund Division of the outlawed CPI (Maoist) secretary Basant Kumar on Thursday.

He also alleged that the state government was not taking any steps to tackle the unemployment problem and those of the farmers.

He also urged the people to observe the PLGA week.
