Bhubaneswar: The Maoists on Wednesday lent their support to the 12-hour Odisha bandh call given by the Congress following the death of the minor rape victim in Koraput district who had committed suicide on Monday.
In the audio tape, secretary of Srikakulam-Koraput Division of the CPI-Maoist, Aruna, has demanded the immediate transfer of senior police officials from Koraput.
Besides, she has also urged to extend the bandh duration from 12 hours to 48 hours in Koraput district.
