Malkangiri: A group of Maoists reportedly hijacked two power boats at Totapadar in the cut-off area of Chitrakonda in Malkangiri district late on Sunday.
“The Maoists thrashed the drivers of both the boats, which were heading towards Jodamba (Indian Reserve Battalion) IRBN, carrying rations for Border Security Force jawans, looted the food items and fled the spot,” Malkangiri SP Jagmohan Meena said.
