district late on Saturday night.
A group of 15-20 armed ultras stormed into the house of Sitaram Khila
late on Saturday night when he was sleeping. They dragged him out of
his house and slashed his throat, killing him on the spot.
Receiving information regarding the incident, police rushed to the spot
and seized the body.
“Sitaram never worked as an informer of police. However, combing
operations have been intensified in the locality to nab those involved
in the murder”, a police officer said.
