Rayagada: Panic gripped the villagers of Dimiriguda after seven Maoist posters were spotted in the village of Rayagada district on Saturday morning.
The posters, reportedly released by Ghumussar Divisional Committee of the outlawed outfit, stated that Shankar Patra and Hemanta Patra from Kandhamal’s Belghar were killed for informing the police about their movement.
The Red rebels also held Odisha police DGP Abhay and police intelligence chief RK Sharma responsible for the deaths of the duo.
Police reached the spot, took the posters and started an investigation.
