Maoists Set Fire To Road Construction Company’s Truck In Odisha’s Rayagada

Rayagada: Maoists have allegedly torched a truck of a road construction company and left behind a poster in the district Friday night.

According to sources, around 20 armed Maoists reached the camp office of the construction company SVSMC Pvt Ltd in Budaguda village under Kalyansingpur police limits at night. They set fire to a truck of the company parked there. The company is engaged in the construction work of National Highway 45.

Before leaving, the Maoists hanged a poster on the main gate of the camp office. The Left wing activists have threatened the panchayat members of facing action, if they fail to execute welfare works properly.
