Nabarangpur: Maoists on Monday put up posters at Chandahandi road near Karalapada under Jharigaon police limits in Nabarangpur district urging locals to boycott Independence Day celebrations.
The rebels have instead asked them observe Tuesday as black day and hoist black flags on the occasion.
Receiving information, police reached the spot and seized the posters. While starting investigation into the matter, police advised people not to be panic.
