Bhubaneswar: There was a marginal drop in new COVID-19 cases in the capital city where 314 persons tested positive in the last 24 hours. The city had reported 389 cases on Friday.
Of the new cases on the day, 65 were from quarantine and 249 through local contacts, according to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The highest 35 cases were reported from Khandagiri, followed by 21 from Patia, 15 from IRC Village and 13 from Old Town.
The city logged 330 recoveries while there were 1,188 active cases. The number of deceased has touched 503.
As many as 91,679 patients have recovered from the disease till date while total cases have gone up to 93,391 .
