Cuttack: Actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty and his estranged wife Varsha Priyadarshini appeared at the mediation centre of the family court in Cuttack on Friday.
According to reports, a discussion was held over two hours in the court. The next date of hearing of the couple at the mediation centre is July 14.
A day earlier on Thursday, Anubhav had filed a written complaint against Varsha at Purighat police station in Cuttack. He alleged that some unknown persons had been visiting his residence recently.
Earlier, Varsha had alleged that some unknown persons had threatened her after barging into her room.
On July 6 last year, the actor-turned-politician had filed a divorce suit in Patiala House Court in Delhi.
Then on March 5, the Supreme Court had ordered the transfer of the case to the family court in Cuttack. The apex court issued the order in response to a petition filed by Varsha on September 20 last year.
