Marital Discord: Ollywood Star Varsha Fails To Appear In Cuttack Family Court

Cuttack: Ollywood star Varsha Priyadarshini on Friday failed to appear before the mediation centre of Family Court, here in connection with hearing of divorce case filed by her husband and actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty.

According to sources, Varsha could not turn up for the hearing due to her illness. The court has set the next hearing of the case on August 10.

On Varsha’s absence from the court, Anubhav told the media outside the court that such behaviour on her part was unexpected. She should honour the proceedings in the court for early settlement of the case, he added.

“I had married Varsha after falling in love with her. I have high regards for her. I wish her all happiness and success in life. But she should ensure transparency in her behaviour,” said Anubhav.

The estranged Ollywood couple are entangled in the legal battle since last year. The divorce suit filed in Patiala House Court in New Delhi on July 6, 2020, was transferred to the court in Cuttack following a Supreme Court ruling on March 5 this year.
