Market Bounces Back After A Poor May; Here Are Top-Selling Cars In June 2021

Bhubaneswar: The car market had its worst period this year in May due to lockdowns across the country. Fortunately, the market recovered substantially in June as restrictions were eased. As usual, the chart was dominated by Maruti, followed by Hyundai.

Here are the top cars sold in June 2021:

  1. Maruti Suzuki WagonR – 19,447 units
  2. Maruti Suzuki Swift – 17,727 units
  3. Maruti Suzuki Baleno – 14,701 units

  4. Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza – 12,833 units

  5. Maruti Suzuki Dzire – 12,639 units
  6. Maruti Suzuki Alto – 12,513 units

  7. Hyundai Creta – 9,941 units

  8. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga – 9,920 units
  9. Maruti Suzuki Eeco – 9,218 units
  10. Hyundai Grand i10 Nios – 8,787 units

In the luxury segment, Mercedes-Benz saw the highest sale, followed by BMW and Jaguar Land Rover.

Here are the top luxury cars sold in June 2021:

  1. Mercedes-Benz – 546 units
  2. BMW – 390 units
  3. Jaguar Land Rover – 123 units
  4. Volvo – 63 units
  5. Audi – 45 units
  6. Porsche – 9 units
  7. Bentley – 4 units
  8. Lamborghini – 2 units
  9. Rolls Royce – 1 unit
