Berhampur: A married man and a young woman were found dead under mysterious circumstances in Odisha’s Berhampur city on Wednesday.
According to sources, the locals spotted the two bodies on railway track under overbridge near Goods Shed Road and informed the GRP. The GRP personnel of Berhampur went to the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
The married man has been identified as a contractual sanitation worker in the Indian Railways, but the identity of the girl has not been confirmed. Both belong to the area under Lanjipalli police limits in Berhampur city, the sources said.
The GRP, which has registered a case of unnatural death in this regard, said the cause of death would be known after getting the post-mortem report.
