Mumbai: Adapting to these troubled times, 5 Star Hotel Group Marriott has started home delivery of food by partnering with Zomato.
The group had earlier started outdoor catering and bento box meals to help sustain themselves in what is one of the toughest periods for the hospitality sector.
The new service, named ‘Marriott on Wheels’, will start at 30 hotels in select cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Gurugram, Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Raipur, Chennai, Surat and Kochi.
Every hotel will have a sanitization station for Zomato deliveries. Zomato will also execute contactless deliveries for all prepaid orders from the luxury hotel.
