New Delhi: Maruti has updated its premium hatchback Baleno and hiked the prices by Rs 7,000 to Rs 44,000. The new Baleno is available at Rs 5.45 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.
The new Baleno gets a redesigned aggressive bumper and a 3D-designed grill. The LED projector lamps with DRLs are now standard from Delta variant. On the inside, it gets a new black-and-blue interior theme.
The infotainment system is updated to the one fitted on the new Wagon R. The 7.0 inch SmartPlay Studio system has been co-developed by Harman and has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as before.
Safety-wise, dual airbags, ABS, rear parking sensor and seat belt reminder system are standard across the range.
The engines, 1.2 litre 83hp petrol and 1.3 litre 75hp diesel aren’t changed.
The Baleno has been selling around 13k units per month and consistently features in the top 10 cars sold in the country.
