Rourkela: An elderly man was robbed of Rs 3 lakh as two masked miscreants snatched his cash bag in broad daylight in Rourkela city of Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Monday.
As per reports, the man had gone to the Central Bank branch located at Koel Nagar under Jhirpani police limits in the city. After withdrawing the money, he was coming out of the bank premises when the two miscreants with their faces covered came on a motorcycle.
The miscreants snatched the victim’s bag containing Rs 3 lakh and fled on their bike before the former could raise an alarm.
Later, the elderly man filed a complaint in Jhirpani police station. The police have registered a case and started investigation to identify the miscreants.
