Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government has decided to organise mass singing of Bande Utkala Janani on April 1, Utkal Diwas day.
The mass singing time has been fixed for 6 pm on the 87th foundation day of the Odisha, informed School and Mass Education Minister Samir Das here on Wednesday.
In 2020, after the COVID-19 pandemic struck Odisha, people across the State led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik sang ‘Bande Utkal Janani’ in unison to express their gratitude to the frontline workers spearheading the fight against coronavirus. Odisha residents across the world too joined the chorus in paying tribute to corona warriors.
