Mumbai: A major fire broke out in the Heera Panna shopping mall in Jogeshwari area here on Friday afternoon.
The fire was detected around 3.15 pm, a fairly busy time for the mall. According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), 14 people trapped inside the mall have been safely rescued.

Thankfully, no casualties or injuries have been reported so far.
As many as 25 fire brigade vehicles, including 12 fire engines, have been pressed into service. Efforts are underway to extinguish the fire completely.
Mumbai fire brigade authorities classified it as a level three fire.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
