Khurda: A massive firecracker exploded in a house at Kantabada village under Begunia police limits in Khurda district late on Saturday night.
According to sources, one Kashinath Mohapatra and his family members were allegedly involved in making crackers in their house when one of it accidentally went off. The fire later spread to a stockpile of crackers kept inside the room. However, no casualty has been reported.
On being informed, a fire tender team and police rushed to the spot. The investigation is underway, it is learnt.
