Balangir/Cuttack: The Mathematics question paper of the ongoing annual High School Certificate examination went viral on social media on Saturday, much to the Board of Secondary Education’s embarrassment.
Reports said that Set-D of the maths question paper and a copy of an admit card were found floating on social media in Balangir and Kalahandi districts half an hour after commencement of the examination.
Admitting that long questions from Set D of the Mathematics paper were leaked and uploaded on social media, BSE president Dr Jahan Ara Begum told journalists in Cuttack that the source from where the question paper and admit card were obtained had been established. “The board will initiate stern action against those involved in the matter without delay,” she said.
