Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education on Monday announced that the annual High School Certificate Examinations-2018 will begin from February 23 and end on March 8.
“It has been decided to conduct State Open School Certificate and Sanskrit Madhayama Examinations simultaneously with the Matric examination. As many as 100 more examination centres will be added to the existing ones,” Controller of Examination Nihar Ranjan Mohanty informed.
The students can fill up their forms online by November 16 this year without fine. Students, who register and deposit the fees by November 16, will have to submit their application by November 17 midnight. The forms can also be filled up online till November 21 with fine.
The regular students will have to deposit Rs 320 as examination fee while Quasi-Regular, Ex-Regular and correspondence-Regular and Correspondence Ex-Regular students will pay an amount of Rs 405. A fine of Rs 50 will be collected for late registration.
However, the examination fees has been exempted for students belonging to 15 drought-hit districts.
