Matric Question Papers Leaked In Kendrapara, Circulated On WhatsApp!

Kendrapara: The MIL (Odia) question papers of the annual Matriculation examination was allegedly leaked from an examination centre near the market area in Aul Block of Odisha’s Kendrapara district on Friday.

As reported by a local news channel, the question papers were found uploaded on a social media, WhatsApp, an hour after commencement of the examination which subsequently went viral.

“We are yet to identify the person who was behind the leak of the question papers.Utmost security is being maintained in setting of question papers for the examination.The matter is under investigation”, an official from the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) informed.

Higher Education Minister Ananta Das paid a surprise visit to an examination centre at Utkal University High School in Bhubaneswar to oversee security measures that have been put in place by the officials concerned for smooth conduct of the examinations.

A three-tier security has been put in place across 2,818 examination centres across the state to check malpractice.

This year, more than 6 lakh students are appearing in the examination.
