Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha on Tuesday said the Matriculation supplementary examination will be held in 80 centres across the state.
The BSE, in a release, said the candidates, who have submitted their filled up forms for the examination, can avail their admit cards from its official website www.bseodisha.ac.in. The form fill-up process, which started from May 26, will continue to till June 1.
The BSE is conducting the examination to give another chance to dropouts and ex-regular students besides those who failed in the Matriculation examination.
Besides 1,311 students who failed in the Matriculation examination this year, 8,195 state open school certificate candidates will have the opportunity to appear at the supplementary examination which will be held from July 3.
The successful candidates in the examination will be allowed to take admission in Plus II immediately after the results are declared, sources in BSE said.
It may be noted here that the annual High School Certificate (HSC) Summative Assessment-II examination 2023 was conducted from March 10 to 20. As many as 5.32 lakh students appeared in 3,218 examination centers and the overall pass rate was 96.40 per cent.
