Bhubaneswar: Maushumi Lata Padhi has been appointed the as Regional Employees Provident Fund Commissioner of Odisha zone.
With more than 30 years of experience in public service, she is the first Odia woman to get the coveted posting, sources said.
Padhi has earlier worked in women welfare schemes at cutting edge level, public distribution system and enforcement of EPF Act and schemes in the country. She has also got rich experience in human resources management.
Padhi says that empowering women and voiceless is her passion apart from extending help in social security like EPF, Pension and ESIC.
She believes in bringing compassion and empathy in training programmes.
