Baripada: The world famous Chhau dance from Mayurbhanj district will be performed in the International Dance Festival.
The seven-day long online dance festival will kick start in Toronto, Canada from November 29.
The students of Guru Foren Narayan’s Mayurbhanj Chhau Dance and Music Academy will perform the tribal dance piece ‘Dwajatala’ on the occasion.
The troupe of performers will include dancers Kusha Ghadai, Rishna Ghadai, Durgamadhab Rout, Gagan Akash Bindhani, Priyanka Ghadai, Dipti Chakrabarty, Ranjita Dhada and Nainabat Dhada as well as instrumentalists Ashoka Baitha and Bikash Ghadai.
