Medical Colleges To Reopen In Odisha On December 1

Bhubaneswar: The state government has decided to reopen the medical colleges from December 1.

In an official order, Additional Chief Secretary, Health department on Friday directed the authorities of all medical colleges in the state to reopen.
The authorities have been directed to begin classes of the students under strict adherence to Covid-19 guidelines and SOP.
It may be mentioned that all higher education institutions have been closed since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.

Higher Education minister Arun Sahoo on November 19 had said the reopening of colleges, universities and other higher education institutes may be delayed in view of the prevailing pandemic situation in the state.
