In all likelihood PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal, two of India’s greatest shuttlers of this generation, will clash against each other at the World Championship meet in Switzerland beginning on August 19. A semi-final clash between the two appears imminent as both have been placed on the same side in the draw.

3. Sachin Tendulkar:
The legend took the third spot with Rs 800 million in his kitty.
4. PV Sindhu:
A gifted shuttler, Sindhu’s wealth rose to Rs 365 million, making her the fourth richest sportsperson in India.
5. Rohit Sharma:
A skipper in the making of Indian cricket, Rohit took the fifth place in the list with a wealth of Rs 314 million.
6. Hardik Pandya:
This future star of Indian cricket has seen a significant jump in his fortune in the last few years, which stands at Rs 284 million.
7. R Ashwin:
According to Forbes, his recorded earning stands at Rs 189 million.
8. Bhuvneshwar Kumar:
The fast bowler and an immensely popular cricketer in the country has been ranked eighth with a wealth of Rs 172 million.
9. Suresh Raina:
The ninth richest sportsperson in the country, Raina’s earning stood at Rs 169 million.
10 Saina Nehwal:
The badminton sensation saw a drop in her wealth than the previous year, but with Rs 165 million, she is the 10th richest player in the country.
