Bhubaneswar: The meeting of all committees and sub-committees of the Odisha Assembly will be held after June 10.
Assembly Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro has informed the chairpersons of the committees, in a letter.
Stating that the meeting of the committees and sub-committees were put on hold in view of the COVID-19 outbreak, Patro said the decision to resume the meetings has been taken following a permission from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
“Henceforth, the meetings of the committees and sub-committee will be held with strict adherence to social distancing guidelines,” Patro said, adding that the committees have to intimate the State Assembly Secretariat 10 days before convening a meeting.
