Bhubaneswar: Odisha Society of Americas (OSA) will host a mega brainstorming virtual conclave on the all-round development of Odisha on December 19 from 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm.
Being organised under the banner of OSA’s Library Chapter, Odisha Public Library Initiative (OPLI), the digital platform will see a major panel discussion on the topic “Pathway to ICT — enabled Libraries in Every District Head Quarter and Panchayat of Odisha by 2024”.
The conclave will cover several topics related to Odisha’s development and will have a mixture of invited guest speakers and participants.
The online meeting will deliberate on a proposal for setting up of a world-class museum in Puri. Other important topics to be discussed during the marathon session include eco-tourism in Odisha, tourism promotion using social networks, skill development, world-class education in Odia for public schools, infrastructure issues such as sustainable energy and establishment of a central corridor in Odisha.
The guest speakers to address the webinar will include Odisha’s Minister of Panchayati Raj, Drinking Water, Law, Housing and Urban Development, Pratap Jena, Minister of Culture and tourism, Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi, Minister of E & IT, Sports & Youth Services Tusharkanti Behera and bureaucrats like Bishnupada Sethi, Manoj Mishra and Subham Saxena.
