Bhubaneswar: A man was seen protesting in front of the house of a girl’s prepping for her wedding. Claiming that she was her legally-wedded wife, he demanded that she allowed to go with him.
The man claimed that the duo had got married in a court in 2013. The girl, however, had been staying with her family at Nayapalli here for reasons unknown.
According to sources, on learning about her mehndi ceremony, he rushed to her house with documents and photo albums as proof that they were already married. Following a ruckus in front of the house, family members of the girls called the police. He was taken to police station and later released. But hours later, he was back in front of her house with the same demand, the sources added.
