Bhubaneswar: After a gap of almost one year, MEMU train services will resume in Odisha in a phased manner from March 30.
Besides two MEMU trains, East Coast Railways (ECoR) has decided to run three special trains and extend services of one.
The two MEMU trains will run between Bhubaneswar-Keonjhar and Puri-Angul. The special trains will ply between Puri-Hatia, Puri-Sambalpur and Puri-Paradeep. Services of the Visakhapatnam-Jagadalpur Special train have been extended to Kirandul, the ECoR sources said.
MEMU TRAINS
Bhubaneswar-Kendujhargarh-Bhubaneswar MEMU
Bhubaneswar-Kendujhargarh MEMU (68426) will leave from Bhubaneswar at 4.35 pm starting March 30 and reach Kendujhargarh at 9.35 pm. In the return direction, Kendujhargarh-Bhubaneswar MEMU (68425) will leave Kendujhargarh at 6.30 am from March 31 and arrive at Bhubaneswar at 11.05 am.
Puri-Angul-Puri MEMU
Puri-Angul MEMU (68422) will leave Puri at 4.45 pm starting April 5 and will reach Angul at 9.30 PM. In the return direction, Angul-Puri MEMU (68421) from Angul will leave at 5.45 AM from April 6, and arrive at Puri at 10.20 am.
SPECIAL TRAINS
Puri-Hatia Special (08452) will run from Puri starting April 1 and Hatia-Puri Special (08451) will start from Hatia from April 2 till further advice.
Puri-Paradeep-Puri Special will run from April 7 till further advice. This train will leave Puri at 6.15 am and reach Paradeep at 10.15 am. In the return direction, this train will leave Paradeep at 6 pm and will arrive at Puri at 10.10 pm.
Sambalpur-Puri-Sambalpur Special will run from April 3 till further advice. This train will leave Sambalpur at 6 am and will arrive at Puri at 12.50 pm. In the return direction, this train will leave Puri at 3.45 pm and will arrive at Sambalpur at 10.10 pm.
SERVICE EXTENDED
Visakhapatnam-Jagadalpur-Visakhapatnam Special will be extended up to Kirandul from April 1.
