Mercury Dips At Night But Remains Above 15 °C At Most Places In Odisha; Check Details

Bhubaneswar: After a spell of rain, night temperatures have started dipping again in Odisha. But it remained above 15 degrees Celsius at most places of the state on Sunday night. Keonjhar recorded the lowest minimum temperature with 12.8 degrees Celsius, followed by Daringbadi at 31.1 degrees Celsius.

Other places that recorded minimum temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius were Baripada (14), Balasore (14.4), Jharsuguda (13.2), Talcher (14), Chandbali (14), Bolangir (14), Titlagarh (13.3) and Koraput (14.5).

Bhubaneswar recorded a minimum temperature of 16.2 degrees Celsius, while in Cuttack it was 15 degrees Celsius.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday said the minimum temperature is likely to fall by 3-5 degrees Celsius in the next three days.

The IMD has also forecast dense to very dense fog at night and morning hours over Odisha during January 18-20.
