Mercury Dips Below 15°C At 15 Places In Odisha, Daringibadi Coldest at 8°C

Bhubaneswar: Cold wave conditions continue to sweep Odisha with 15 places recording night temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours.

Daringibadi was coldest at 8 degrees Celsius, followed by Phulbani (8.5), Koraput (12), Titlagarh (12.3), Jharsuguda (12.4), Bhawanipatna (12.5), Keonjhar (12.6), Sundargarh (13), Bolangir (13), Sonepur (13.2), Hirakud (13.4), Chandbali (14), Sambalpur (14.2), Angul and Baripada (14.6 each).

The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded minimum temperatures of 15.6 and 15.2 degrees Celsius, respectively.

According to the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, night temperatures are likely to rise by 3-4 degrees Celsius at many places during the next two days.
