Bhubaneswar: The night temperature in Daringbadi in Odisha’s Kandhamal district plummeted below 10 degree Celsius as most parts of Odisha experienced the first winter chill on Friday.
According to a release by the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, this evening, Daringbadi recorded the lowest night temperature of this season at 9.5 degree Celsius.
Apart from this, temperature dropped below 15 degree Celsius in Angul (12), Jharsuguda (14.6), Kenojhar (14.4), Sambalpur (14.8), Sundargarh (11), Koraput (14.6) Phulbani (12) and Titlagarh (13.1).
The release further said that conditions are favourable for cold wave to cover the state as there will be no change in the weather condition till November 22.
