Bhubaneswar: G Udayagiri in Kandhamal recorded the lowest temperature in Odisha at 8.4 degree Celsius followed by Similiguda in Koraput district at 9 degree Celsius and Daringbadi and Phulbani (Kandhamal) at 10.5 degree Celsius each, the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The night temperature dropped below 15 degree Celsius at 17 places, including Koraput (10.6), Kirei in Sundargarh (11), and Ranital in Bhadark (13). The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 16.8 degree Celsius and 15.4 degree Celsius respectively.

It is pertinent to mention here that the state will continue to experience a drop in night temperature, which might increase slightly rise again by Sunday.
Besides, some parts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, and Kandhamal are likely to witness light to moderate rain on November 21.
