Mercury Plummets To 10°C and Below At 10 Places In Odisha; Check The Lowest Temp

Bhubaneswar: With cold wave sweeping Odisha, the mercury plummeted to 5.6 degree Celsius Similiguda in Koraput last night, the India Meteorological Department informed on Monday.

As many as 10 places recorded a night temperature of 10 degree Celsius and below last night:

Similiguda in Koraput – 5.6

G Udayagiri in Kandhamal – 8

Phulbani in Kandhamal – 8.5

Keonjhar – 9.5

Koraput – 9.5

Daringbadi in Koraput – 9.5

Kirei in Sundargarh -9.5

Chipilima in Sambalpur – 9.8

Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi – 10

The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 14 degree Celsius and 15 degree Celsius respectively.

According to the IMD, the minimum temperature in the state will remain 2 to 3 degree below normal at several places in Odisha during the next 4 to five days.
