Bhubaneswar: Amid the prevailing cold wave, the night temperature dropped to 7.6 degrees Celsius at Similiguda in Odisha’s Koraput, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Sunday.
Shallow to moderate fog was also seen at Angul, Phulbani and Bhawanipatna.

The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 14 degree Celsius and 14.8 degree Celsius respectively.
According to the IMD, the night temperature is likely to remain 2 to 3 degree Celsius below normal at many places in Odisha during the next 4 to 5 days. It has also forecast shallow to moderate fog at one or two places in Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Balangir and Gajapati till 8.30 am on November 28.
