Bhubaneswar: The night temperature in Odisha witnessed a considerable rise in the last 24 hours with Sundargarh recording 11 degreee Celsius, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Monday.
As the mercury stood below or at 15 degree Celsius in at least 12 places in the state, Koraput recorded 12°C followed by Daringibadi in Kadhnamal at 12.5°C and Similiguda in Koraput at 12.5 degree.
The capital city of Bhubaneswar recorded a minimum temperature of 19.9 degree Celsius, while it was 19.6 degree in the millennium city of Cuttack, the IMD said.

While dense fog was witnessed in Cuttack, Angul and Balangir, places like Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Koraput, Dhenkanal and Bhawanipatna experienced shallow to moderate fog.
