Cuttack: In view of the onset of summer and rising day temperatures, the Orissa High Court has directed all subordinate courts in the state to hold morning session from April 4.
The district and sessions judges were informed of the decision by Bhagyalaxmi Rath, registrar (administration) of the Orissa High Court, through a notice dated March 16, which was uploaded on the court’s website on Thursday, PTI reported.
The morning session will be from 7 am to 1 pm with a half-an-hour break from 10 am to 10.30 am.
The morning session will continue till the end of summer vacation.
The order will, however, not apply to courts in Puri, Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Chatrapur and Koraput, the order said.
