Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday forecast a gradual rise in the day temperature by 2-3 degree Celsius at many places in Odisha during the next 3 days.
The Met office has also issued yellow warning for thunderstorm with lightning till 8.30 am on Friday.

Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal and Angul.
Light to moderate rain is also likely at a few places in coastal Odisha, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, and Kandhamal and at one or two places in the remaining parts of the state.

Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places in Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore.
Light to moderate rain is also likely at one or two places in Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Balasore during this period.
Rainfall activity in the state will continue till 8.30 am on (Monday) May 30.
