Mumbai: Television stars Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya have embraced parenthood with double joy, announcing the birth of their twin baby boys on Tuesday.
The couple, popularly known as “Divek” among fans, shared the heartwarming news on social media with a sweet graphic with the message: “We asked for happiness… God said, ‘Take double.’ Blessed with twin baby boys”, marking the end of a long wait after nearly a decade of marriage.
Vivek Dahiya added a personal touch in his post, writing, “The wait is finally over… ‘The Boys’ are here and life already feels more beautiful than we ever imagined. Mere Karan Arjun aa gaye!,” — a playful reference to the iconic Bollywood film Karan Arjun.
“Need all your love and blessings as Div and I begin this incredible new chapter of parenthood,” he added.
Fans and colleagues from the television industry have flooded social media with congratulatory messages, showering the new parents with love and blessings.
The couple tied the knot in 2016 after meeting on the sets of the popular daily soap ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’. They had been open about their pregnancy journey, sharing glimpses with fans through vlogs and a dreamy maternity shoot where they twinned in white outfits.
Sharing the photo, Divyanka wrote, “from being each other’s home to becoming a home for someone else. We don’t know what this journey will look like yet, but we already know it’ll be our greatest one. PS: I am lucky, I get to Love You and the world you have created for me (sic).”
