Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thundershowers is likely in nine districts of Odisha in the next few hours, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Saturday morning.
The districts are Ganjam, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Boudh, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Puri, Khurda and Keonjhar.
The IMD on Friday said a fresh low pressure is likely to form over south Andaman sea and its neighbourhood by Saturday and is likely to move west-north-westwards and become more marked during the subsequent 48 hours.
On Friday, the IMD issued a yellow warning for several Odisha districts, forecasting heavy rainfall in these places.
