Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre here issued rain and thundershower warning for several districts of the state on Thursday morning.
In a Yellow warning issued at 9 am, the Met office forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers in parts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Puri, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak and Balasore in the next three hours.
The Met office issued the rain forecast following a low pressure system over the Bay of Bengal.
