Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday sounded thunderstorm and lightning warning for nine districts in Odisha.
In a morning bulletin, the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar said light to moderate thunderstorm and lightning accompanied by moderate rainfall was likely to continue at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar between 11 am to 2 pm.
The Met centre has issued advisory to the people in these districts to remain alert during the period.
