Bhubaneswar: Odisha is set to experience severe cold wave condition with temperature coming down further in next two days.
According to evening bulletin of the regional office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday, the minimum temperature (night temperature) in the state is very likely to fall by 3 to 5 degree Celsius in the next 48 hours. However, there will be no large change for next three days thereafter.
The state continued to remain in the grip of cold wave with temperature hovering over 15 degree Celsius in mist places. Daringbadi recorded lowest minimum temperature of 12.5 degree Celsius on Thursday. It was followed by Jharsuguda with 13.4 degree and Angul and Koraput with 14 degree.
The minimum temperature in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar was 15.8 degree and 17.6 degree Celsius respectively. The Met office has forecast dry weather with shallow to moderate fog in some districts.
