Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre issued heavy rainfall warning in the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar till Monday morning.
The Centre, in an evening bulletin, has asked people in the twin cities to remain alert between 6.30 pm and 9.30 pm on Sunday.
It further stated that Bhubaneswar and Cuttack will receive moderate rainfall on Monday, with one or two spells of heavy showers in Cuttack.
Heavy rain will result in poor visibility and temporary traffic congestion. There will be waterlogging in low-lying areas.
Denizens have been advised to avoid movement during the heavy rain and take utmost precaution relating to open manholes and uncovered electric wires.
